Amparo Orozco was born in Madrid, Spain.
She began her drawing studies in Madrid and later moved to Lisbon, where she completed her education at the National Society of Fine Arts.

Her studies included:

• Painting with Professor Jaime Silva

• "The Problem of Representation and Meaning in the Structure of the Artwork," with David Lopes

Amparo has exhibited her work in some of the most prestigious galleries in both Portugal and Spain.

Her art is also part of numerous private collections in countries such as Portugal, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the United States (New York).

Since 1992, she has been a member of the Society of Fine Arts in Lisbon.
