Andreia Djamila dos Santos Ferreira Pedro was born on August 22, 1985, in Luanda, Angola. She completed secondary education in Fine Arts at ENAP Luanda, specializing in ceramics. She pursued painting at the Lisbon Academy of Fine Arts in 2007 and continued her studies at ESAD Caldas da Rainha, earning a degree in Ceramic and Glass Design in 2011. She then completed coursework in Decorative Arts to qualify for a Master's in Interior Design, which she completed at ESAD Alcântara between 2012 and 2014.
In 2016, she returned to Luanda, working in interior decoration, 3D projects, and special site supervision before fully dedicating herself to ceramics. She launched her first collection, ETUKU, exhibited in Lisbon in 2017. She has since participated in numerous exhibitions, including Artes Mirabilis (2018, Portugal) and KALUANDANDO.COM (2018, Luanda).
Between 2018 and 2019, she collaborated with Expo Garden in Luanda producing ceramic planters, before returning to Lisbon to open her ceramic studio and continue creating handcrafted collections. Her subsequent collections include MUKIXIS (2019), BANTU’S EXPRESSIONS, KITANDA, SHADOWS OF AFRICA (2020–2021), BILROS, JUNGLE (2022–2023), OUX (2024), and updates to JUNGLE with new pieces in 2025, alongside custom commissions.
