A Brazilian visual artist, he began his professional career as a technical draftsman in urban planning and architecture, also working in advertising and screen printing. Since 1983, he has participated in several art exhibitions, receiving important awards in salons and collective shows. He lived in Lisbon for six years, working as a graphic and advertising designer and maintaining a constant connection with the visual arts scene.

In 2006, he resumed his solo exhibitions with GEOMÉTRIKA in João Pessoa, which also marked the launch of his first catalog, later presented in São Paulo the same year. Since then, he has consolidated his career through numerous solo exhibitions, group shows, art salons, festivals, and biennials in Brazil and abroad.

He received notable awards such as First Prize at the Guilherme Hortêncio Art Salon (Galeria Arte Solo), the Chaplin Prize – Intellectual Merit Honor, and Honorable Mentions at two editions of the SESC/Brasília Arts Biennial (2014 and 2018). In 2010, his work was included in the Catalogue of the Art Collection of the Federal Senate Museum in Brasília.

Currently residing in Portugal, he has participated in international exhibitions in countries such as Germany, Italy, and France. Among the highlights are: ART OPEN FESTIVAL (Eschweiler, Germany – 2014 and 2016), DIE FARBEN BRASILIENS (Aachen, Germany – 2015), ART PADOVA (Padua, Italy – 2015), LEICHTIGKEIT (Cologne, Germany – 2016), and ABSTRACTION UND IMMERSION (Aachen, Germany – 2017). In 2018, he was awarded the Bronze Medal in the Abstract Painting category at the Prix International des Professionnels de L’Art in France and was an Invited Artist at the VI Biennial of Lusophone Cultures (Odivelas, Portugal).

He has been a member of the Mondial Art Academia, France, since 2018. Throughout his career, he received formal recognitions from the City Council of Campina Grande and the Legislative Assembly of Paraíba, and designed covers for academic journals and literary publications.

Among his most recent solo exhibitions are Konstruktivist (Lisbon, 2024), Geometrium (Lisbon, 2022), and A Poética da Forma (Lisbon, 2015). His artistic work is characterized by a geometric approach, exploring the relationships between form, color, and space, integrating the technical precision of design with the artistic sensitivity of contemporary abstract painting.
