Collection: Filomena Morim, visual artist
|
Artist featured by Art Gallery The One in a collection. |
Born in Lisbon, he was attracted to painting from an early age.
Under the guidance of Professor Conceição Oliveira from the Lisbon School of Fine Arts, he began to learn the technique in oil painting, stained glass, ceramic painting and silk. Inactive in this area for several years, he set out to explore other avenues of knowledge.
With the encouragement of several friends, he returned to mixed media and acrylic brushes.
Painting is transposing the intensity of emotions onto the canvas, searching deep within the soul for feelings that transcend mere senses.
Traveling on the wings of the imagination, he transfers to the canvas the union between the Universe and the Earth.
