Mafalda Lisboa de Lima was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1970. She graduated in Business Organization and Management from ISCTE in 1995 and later completed a specialization in Marketing at the ISG Executive School. From an early age, she showed a strong interest in the visual arts, beginning to draw and paint as a self-taught artist.

She later pursued formal artistic training in painting at the National Society of Fine Arts in Lisbon (SNBA) between 2011 and 2015, followed by Atelier Livre (2015–2016), becoming an associate member of the institution. She also studied drawing and portrait techniques in specialized workshops.

Between 2012 and 2018, she participated in SNBA annual exhibitions and collective exhibitions at the Cultural Training and Animation Workshops in Aljustrel. Her individual exhibitions include the 35th Anniversary of Restaurante Comida de Santo in Lisbon (2016) and Tones at Hospital da Luz in Lisbon (2019). More recently, she has exhibited in galleries, ateliers, and concept stores in Lisbon, including EtnikSpring, Atelier Guarda Joias, and Baiwho.

Mafalda Lisboa de Lima has maintained an active presence in collective exhibitions at SNBA from 2016 through 2025, consolidating her artistic career within the contemporary Portuguese art scene.
