Collection: Maria Janicelle, visual artist

Maria Janicelle was born in Patos, in the interior of the state of Paraíba, northeast of Brazil, and it is in this land where she entered painting.
She made color an element of great importance in her works, where she presents circular shapes integrated with squares, flowers, arabesques and stripes.
“When painting, I think out loud, I work with color, establishing a connection between life and painting.”
The artist has a vast resume with exhibitions in Brazil, Portugal and Angola.
