Maria Leonor José Mourão was born in Portalegre on July 8, 1951 (72 years old).

She discovered her passion for painting after choosing Ericeira as her place of residence in 2009. A versatile artist, working under the artistic pseudonym Nor, she initially dedicated herself to watercolor painting and, more recently, has refined her skills in fluid acrylic techniques.

Considering herself self-taught and driven by her "constant search for creation," she has produced a vast collection of works over 15 years of artistic activity. She has participated in various solo and group exhibitions, with her work being appreciated by fellow artists and the public at local, national, and international levels. She has also embraced new information technologies, particularly social media, to showcase her creations.

Her works reflect her relentless pursuit of Beauty and Freedom, refusing to be constrained by styles or dogmas.
