Martina Ballier is a self-taught artist whose work lies between surrealism and a poetic sensibility inspired by nature. Since childhood, painting has been her primary form of expression, through which she has developed an intuitive and organic visual language.

Although she spent many years running her own business in the floristry sector, artistic practice always remained central to her life. During this time, she also expanded her artistic development through courses with the artist “Gliaugir” Volker Schmidt.

She works primarily with watercolor on paper, using a layering technique that allows her to create delicate, atmospheric compositions. Her works depict dreamlike worlds populated by figures and floral elements, built with expressive colors and an open visual narrative that invites the viewer’s interpretation.
