Emanuel Bruno Mota Veiga Andrade was born in 1976 in Nazaré, Portugal, as the eldest of five siblings. From a young age, he displayed a passion for painting, which was recognized when he participated in a school art competition. In 1994, at the age of 18, he began formal art studies at the Portuguese Youth Institute and took part in his first group exhibition.

Emanuel's artistic journey is defined by his unique abstract style, influenced by nature, urbanization, and human complexity. His career began when he won a painting contest, receiving a canvas and a set of paints, which he considers a turning point in his artistic development. He later worked for Alinedecor, a home decoration company, and now dedicates weekly sessions to painting in his studio. His art focuses on abstract aesthetics, with colors and forms expressing a wide range of emotions and concepts.

Emanuel has participated in both individual and group exhibitions, including notable solo shows such as *Vista Aérea* (2014) and *Linhas da Vida* (2013) in Lisbon. His work has been displayed in various local and international exhibitions, and he is also involved in international art collaborations.

Emanuel’s art is inspired by his personal experiences, urban life, and nature. He uses a varied color palette to express complex emotions, often reflecting the duality of positive and negative aspects of life. For him, each painting represents a new beginning and a step in his personal and artistic development.

In addition to painting, Emanuel writes poetry, prose, and thoughts, sharing them through blogs and other media. He enjoys hobbies such as chess, fitness, and mountain biking, which fuel his creativity. His artistic philosophy emphasizes the transformative power of art and the importance of offering new perspectives on life and existence.
