Fauno, born in Lisbon and residing in Sintra, began his artistic career at the International Center of Pero Pinheiro, where he worked from 1996 to 2007. He earned a degree in architecture from ISCTE (2000-2007) and became a licensed architect in 2010. In 2009, he worked at the Sculpture Center and in 2010, he presented the piece "Dryad" at the Public Art exhibition.
International Experience
From 2012 to 2017, Fauno lived and worked in London, exploring digital sculpture and robotics for clients such as Google, Farfetch, and adidas.
Entrepreneurship
In 2019, he founded the company Fauno in Sintra, dedicated to sculpture research. In 2020, he co-founded Nomad Partners with Gonçalo Bandeira and Pedro Godinho, focusing on architecture, design, and construction.
Philosophy and Themes
Fauno combines traditional techniques with modern technology, exploring themes such as myths, dreams, science, politics, and social criticism. His art advocates for inclusion, feminism, human rights, and environmental protection, reflecting a deep commitment to social and environmental causes
