Luís Paulino Luís Paulino was born in 1953 in Évora, Portugal, and began his artistic practice in 1973 with watercolors and oil painting. For three decades, he worked in the hospitality sector, an experience that gave him a deep understanding of the Portuguese landscape and its people, elements that directly influence his pictorial work.

He later studied Fine Arts for three years under the guidance of master José Mouga, strengthening his skills in drawing and painting. His training also includes various specializations in Fine Arts, with particular focus on oil, acrylic, and mixed media techniques.

His work moves between figurative, abstract, and contemporary styles, with an approach centered on lived experience and emotional expression. He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and has been teaching painting in senior academies as a volunteer for more than a decade.

He conceives painting as an essential need and a continuous process of creative exploration.
