Born in 1980 in Setúbal, Portugal, he holds a degree in Art History from NOVA University Lisbon. He has worked in the fields of heritage, art, and culture, collaborating with National Monuments, the National Coach Museum, and the Trocadero auction house. Since 2005, he has devoted himself to researching, preserving, and promoting the heritage of the Portuguese Misericordias, as an author, co-author, researcher, and speaker.
Alongside his professional career, he has always maintained an artistic practice focused on drawing. In 2025, he decided to dedicate himself consistently to painting, presenting his work for the first time that same year in a group exhibition at Galeria Monumental.
His artistic practice is intuitive and fluid, without being confined to specific categories or methods. Nature and the diversity of human cultures are his main sources of inspiration, with a particular interest in themes such as women, strength, connection with natural cycles, patience, and love.
