Annick Zinzen (Belgium, 1966)

Annick Zinzen is a Belgian painter who established her own studio in 2014 and graduated in 2018 from the Art Academy in Berchem, Antwerp. Her work has been exhibited in major cities such as Antwerp, Amsterdam, Ostend, and Brussels.

Zinzen is known for exploring different stages of life and emotions through her painting, aiming to capture faces, expressions, and feelings that fascinate her. She works primarily with acrylics, and many of her pieces are in black and white, where she seeks balance in every shade of gray until color is felt more than seen. At times, she incorporates color naturally, or when the work fully calls for it.

Her work aims to create a moment of recognition for the viewer, reflecting both her inner world and the universal emotions she seeks to convey.
