Education and Training: Maria Guia Pimpão hails from Peraboa, Covilhã, and settled in Coimbra in 1962. She holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Business Finance from the Open University of Lisbon and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Coimbra.

Professional Background: She has been a teacher (now retired) at the Coimbra Business School / ISCAC and has also temporarily worked as a lecturer at the Escola Superior de Educação de Coimbra. Additionally, she has worked as a scenographer at TV Globo and as an Assistant Director at TV Globo, where she has also directed several productions.

Art and Exhibitions: Maria Guia Pimpão has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions from 2010 to the present day. Some of her recent solo exhibitions include "FEMININO PLURAL", "DO SAGRADO E DO PROFANO", and "AS MENINAS, SEGUNDO VELÁZQUEZ". She has also taken part in group exhibitions such as "50 ANOS DO AVEIRO ARTE" and "O MEU LADO FEMININO". Her works have been showcased in various institutions and private collections.

Awards and Recognitions: She has received several awards in the biennial competition "Prémio Mário Silva", including the Silver Award in 2012, the Gold Award in 2014 and 2018, and the Bronze Award in 2016. She has also been recognized in Google's Art Project with two works proposed by the Dionísio Pinheiro Foundation, Águeda.
