Paulo Canilhas was born in Almada, Portugal, in 1969. He engages in artistic pursuits with the constant goal of discovering his unique style and language. As a multidisciplinary artist, his expressive realms span painting, drawing, installation, and digital art. His automatic working process is neither studied nor planned. He seldom begins individual works, preferring to operate within series, creating artistic "families" with strong connections among them.
