WELCOME TO ART GALLERY THE ONE

Collection: Pedro Terra, visual artist

Artist featured by Art Gallery The One in a collection.

Antonio Guerino Fonzar is an Italo-Brazilian visual artist born on March 1, 1959, in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. In 1977, he moved to São Paulo, where he began his career in theater, studying at the Macunaíma School of Dramatic Arts. However, in 1992, he left the theater to focus exclusively on painting, a long-time passion. Self-taught, he developed a contemporary modern style and studied under painter Conillo, as well as art history with professor Douglas Tuffano. He also took photography courses through the Jundiaí Department of Culture and the Geli organization. Over 27 years, he honed his abstract painting technique, exhibiting his work in various Brazilian states and internationally.

Fonzar signs his artwork under the name Pedro Terra, and previously as Angueff. He has held solo exhibitions in venues such as the Diplomata Hotel (Campinas, SP), Gold Gallery (Ribeirão Preto, SP), and galleries in Porto, Portugal. He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, including at the Portinari House Museum (SP), the Metropole Art Gallery in Monaco, and Lisbon Contemporary. His work has earned him several awards, including the first prize at the "La Finestra Etérea" art competition in Milan and recognition at the Biennale of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
