This piece is part of the Iris Project, a research work on the human iris:
My desire was to recreate variants of the iris as realistically as possible, and then diverge from this conceptual constraint, creating some other pieces that are parametric abstractions of the first iris models I created.
The Papyrus represents sharp vision, a perspective on light and its incidence on the faceted surface of the piece.
