This painting is born from a childhood memory, from a time when the world was still a place where the impossible had a home and was called the circus.
In my village, traveling circuses would arrive without warning, with their patched-up tents, a parade of old cars, and extraordinary characters who, to me, seemed to have stepped out of a fairy tale.
This work offers a symbolic reinterpretation of childhood memories linked to the itinerant circuses that roamed small towns in past decades. The fascination of a child before the circus spectacle is translated into a visual narrative where reality and imagination merge into a vibrant composition.
