International Influences
Throughout her life, she has lived in various countries, interacting with different artists and cultures that have profoundly influenced her artistic style. During her time in Japan, accompanying her husband due to his work, Carla was strongly influenced by Eastern abstract artists. In 1993, she exhibited her work at a charity event organized by Alitalia.
In 1995, she further honed her artistic style by attending a course led by Argentine artist Maggie Atienza Larsson. Her first art exhibition took place at the Association of Argentine Magistrates in Buenos Aires in 1995, where she achieved her initial successes.
In 1998, she held another exhibition at the Wellspring School in Buenos Aires, earning the Award of Honor for her piece titled "Profondo Sur."
Exhibitions and Recognition
In 2004, while residing in New York, Carla exhibited her artwork at the Cipriani restaurant, with a portion of the proceeds from the sales going to charity.
Upon returning to Italy, she showcased her work in 2008 and 2009 at the Techne Studio in Rome.
Her breakthrough as an artist occurred in England when she participated in a competition organized by Artist & Illustrators Magazine. Her painting, "Big Break," made her a finalist and caught the attention of the Osborne Gallery in Chelsea, London, which invited her to exhibit her work. Subsequently, Artist & Illustrators Magazine dedicated an exclusive article to her work.
Hertfordshire Life Magazine also published an interview, highlighting her latest work, "Colourful Expressions of Peru."
Recent Activities
In 2017, Carla moved to Genoa, where she had the opportunity to donate one of her paintings to an event organized by Angsa on the GNV ship, in addition to exhibiting at the Lions Club Genoa.
