Collection: Edilson Chong, visual artist

Edilson Chong, a distinguished artist from São Tomé, has enriched his technique and artistic vision through formative experiences with renowned artists such as Seyni Gadiaga from Senegal and the American artist Débora Miller at the Teia D'Arte Gallery in 2002. Additionally, he deepened his knowledge in a painting and drawing workshop with graduates from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon. Chong, whose art has adorned the walls of the Teia D'Arte Gallery several times, shares his creative process and his passion for working with recycled glass, demonstrating his commitment to both art and sustainability. His studio is a multifunctional space that not only showcases his vibrant paintings on the upper floor but also serves as a point of sale for other creations on the ground floor.
