Jean-Charles Breyer | JCB (Luxembourg, 1998) is a visual artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Design and works across painting, drawing and performance. His practice combines expressive abstraction with figurative elements, creating dreamlike environments where the human body and nature flow together.
Through an intuitive painting process where imagination is free, his visions appear. The human fragility has a central role and is combined with organic and architectural elements. Influenced by surrealism and the subconscious, he started to explore cosmic and metaphysical structures.
His work has been exhibited in Luxembourg, Germany, France and Portugal, and is held in private collections across Europe. Alongside his artistic practice, he works as an Art Consultant while continuing to develop long-term painting series from his studio in Lisbon.
