Maria Condeço, born in Évora, Portugal, holds a degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, where she graduated in 1987. Her artistic practice encompasses painting, printmaking, and ceramics.

Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad, presenting her work in Lisbon, Évora, Sintra, Beja, Moura, Arraiolos, Monsaraz, Rome, Toronto, and Montréal. She has participated in several editions of the International Print Biennial of Évora and the International Print Biennial of Douro, as well as the Estampa International Print Fair in Madrid and the international Printesauros project involving Japan, the Netherlands, and Portugal.

She is a member of the Portuguese Printmaking Centre, where she has produced a series of prints. Her artistic training also includes numerous specialised courses and workshops in printmaking, screen printing, woodcut, photogravure, monotype, and mixed techniques, undertaken at institutions and artistic centres in Portugal, New York, and other international contexts, under the guidance of renowned artists and printmakers.

Her artistic practice is characterised by an exploration of diverse techniques and visual languages, with particular emphasis on painting, printmaking, and ceramics.
