Marina Diachkova is a Russian-born watercolor artist, born in 1981 and currently based in Lisbon, Portugal. She has more than twenty years of experience in the arts, combining artistic practice, teaching, and art education management.

She graduated in Art and Mechanical Drawing from Vladimir State Pedagogical University in 2003 and worked as a drawing and painting teacher before becoming Deputy Director of an art school. Since 2022, she has focused primarily on her independent artistic practice, creating watercolor paintings, teaching workshops, and participating in international exhibitions, festivals, and art projects.

Her work is inspired by urban architecture, coastal landscapes, boats, and the atmosphere of seaside cities. Living in Lisbon has strengthened her interest in the relationship between light, water, color, and architecture. Through transparent watercolor techniques, she seeks to capture not only the visual appearance of a place, but also its atmosphere, rhythm, and emotional character.

Her paintings are held in private collections in several countries, and she regularly participates in international watercolor festivals, exhibitions, and plein-air events across Europe and beyond.
