Artist featured by Art Gallery The One in a collection.
Wilson Pereira, stage name Wilson Michel. Born on October 8, 1991 in Vila Franca de Xira. He has an introverted character and comes from a family of artists. Always linked to art, he took his Graphic Design course at the Eiça de Queirós School in Lisbon in 2011. For family reasons, he had to dedicate himself to a culinary and administration course.
His language is through abstract painting. He uses different elements to make them: sponges, ropes, cardboard, spatulas... He does not usually use brushes, only for his other line of portraits (on demand), which have a characteristic characteristic of his painting. He uses geometric shapes and brush strokes to shape a human composition.
Closely linked to spirituality and psychology, he expresses emotions in a conceptual and intangible way. Although in the last line of his paintings, called Ho'oponopono, he recounts the anxiety that was prevalent during the time of the pandemic.
He has exhibited at the Equilibrium gallery, located in Portimão, Portugal. Although he has developed paintings in wood or stone, his great passion is acrylic on canvas. Currently, he is in several courses between Switzerland and Madrid for the development of his painting.
