Carousel
Acrylic and charcoal on canvas
30 x 60 cm
Artist's Name: Mikael Rodrigues. About the artist.
Brief Description
An allusion to modern times, connecting the concept of the “carousel” with what we encounter on today’s social media. At a deeper level, the artist seeks to relate a childhood
game to the things we consume—or choose not to consume—and, ultimately, to what we
leave behind. It reflects on the value of meaningful social interaction and the simple pleasures of childhood play.
